Sunflower Hot Pad
This crochet pattern is much easier to make up than you would think. I saw it (on the internet) and thought there was no way I'd be able to make it. Boy was I wrong. Not only was it easier than I thought it would be it didn't take up a lot of yarn. So once you make one you'll want to make a bunch to give away as gifts for family and friends.

What you will need
Yarn in three colors/ I am using Red heart super saver in bright yellow, paddy green, and brown for this one
A crochet hook- Red heart is a four-ply medium worsted weight yarn and recommends a 5.5/US I-9. I am using a 4.5mm/US G-7 for a tighter stitch.
A pair of scissors
A yarn needle for weaving in ends
A stitch marker
A row counter is optional but handy

Your last Sc will be in the Sc right before your stitch marker. Remove your stitch marker.
